*sigh*

so much to discuss.

my father has had his surgery - and then some surgery to fix what they screwed up in the surgery - and has finally found his way back home. he is grouchy, my mom is grouchy, she hasn't had a drink in three weeks (she swears), he hasn't had a cigarette in three weeks (i know), everyone is crabby. he will see his oncologist in a couple of weeks and hopefully find out for sure that everything was removed.

i am coaching on a fairly full-time basis, working in the office between classes (trying to sort out the disorganized mess that charlotte manages to run a business out of). i am waiting to see if this turns out to be a viable way to support myself. i am still working at the store once or twice a week, where i am presently very unpopular with darcy who has to work with Other People now. i hope - against all hope - to quit soon, but it depends how the gym money pans out.

i am at the gym from ten a.m. until eight p.m. every day, and i am exhausted. cat moved, eliza couldn't be persuaded to give up hockey and soccer for gymnastics (although her mom and i tried), and lacey, thank god, has been transferred over to lee, who gave me the evil look of all evil looks when she found out. melina and nina have a new friend and a little tiny group, and all is (fairly) well except for the fact that they don't like their conditioning phase. i was given another group of (new) ten to twelve year olds who are somewhat driving me nuts. i hope they settle down before i start having to make those mid-practice phone calls home.

there's the brief summary. i may actually sit down and expand on it later. you never know.
