'tis absolutely time for visiting the sports doc as my kneecap feels as if it's about to lift from its' moorings and my elbow is twinging violently at me every time i engage my arm in the slightest of actions.
i had it all braced up, of course, in preparation for teaching (and lifting) the little ones, and was dicking around on the floor when amy entered the gym this afternoon. she asked what was wrong with my elbow, but naturally i had to say i didn't know. when she inquired as to the symptoms, i told her the truth - it hurts when i lift (even things that are not heavy), it hurts when i push on something, it hurts to clench my hand when i pull the sliders up on the bars, sometimes it hurts when it bends, and sometimes it hurts when i rest my elbow on a hard surface, as if it's bruised or somehow tender inside. it was good practice, i suppose, for describing the effects of an injury i can't place tomorrow morning.
